Homemade “Nutella” – Dairy free, refined sugar free

2 cups nuts of choice (i used cashews)
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)
optional: 2 tsp oil (for extra smoothness)
1/2 cup milk of choice (I used soy)

In a Vita-mix or food processor, blend the nuts and oil until they’ve turned to butter, then add all other ingredients and blend a long time until it’s smooth like Nutella! Depending on the quality of your food processor it may take some patience, but it’s totally worth it.
